What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic Medicine is a distinct system of primary care that addresses the root cause of illness or disease and promotes health and healing. Naturopathic doctors are highly educated primary care providers who integrate medical diagnostics with a broad range of natural therapies.

naturopathic medicineThe body is a complex integrated system that responds and reacts to everything, including thoughts, emotions, foods, physical trauma and environment. A Naturopathic Doctor understands the value of listening carefully to their patients in order to understand the complexity of each individual and provide support and tailored treatment options to reach personal health goals.

What can I expect from my first visit?

The initial visit will allow time for:

• Obtaining a complete history, including current health status and contributing factors to any complaints
• A physical examination and any recommended laboratory and diagnostic testing
