Spring Detox Program

Detoxification is the process of clearing toxins from the body. Many of these toxins come from the food we eat, beverages we drink and the air we breathe. Poor digestion, colon sluggishness and dysfunction, reduced liver function, poor elimination through the kidneys, respiratory tract and skin all add to increased toxicity.

Detoxification involves dietary and lifestyle changes that reduce the intake of toxins and improve elimination. Drinking extra purified water and increasing fiber by including more fruits and vegetables in the diet can help to minimize the toxin load. It is also important to avoid other sources such as chemicals from food, refined food, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco.

 Improve flexibility

 Enhance the senses

When is the best time to cleanse/detoxify?

Following the seasonal cycle is beneficial to natural detoxification periods. If we can synchronize with these, we can do much to stay healthy. Spring is the key time to detoxify and autumn is also important. From around mid March through to the end of April for approximately 7 to 21 days is the ideal time for a Spring Detox.
